The York School Parents’ Association (YPA) plays a large part in contributing to this vibrant community. The YPA is a volunteer organization that conducts events that increase school spirit and camaraderie. The YPA also encourages volunteerism and raises funds to support the school. All parents and guardians of current students are automatically members of the YPA.

YPA Middle school Family Game Night
Bring Your Game On!
The YPA has curated a fun-filled Games Night for all of our Middle School families. We will have puzzles, competitions, mini escape rooms, Jenga towers, TikTok dance competitions, trivia showdowns, etc.
There will be prizes!
Please see the event details below, and plan to bring your game faces to this family event.
When: Wednesday, October 8, 2025
Where: 1320 Gym (families to enter through the Farnham Avenue doors)
Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Deadline to RSVP is Friday, October 3, 2025 (so we can organize food quantities)

The Parent Connects Committee is hosting another parent coffee social open to all York families. The York School is a strong believer in community building and this get together is a great opportunity to bring both new and returning families together across all divisions (Junior, Middle and Senior Schools).
Where: Impact Kitchen, 1222 Yonge St
Time: 8:30am - 9:15am

The York SHOP - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The York Shop is located at 1320 Yonge Street next to the Learning Commons.
The Shop will be open during the following days and times:
Mondays: 11:40am to 12:40pm
Tuesdays: 11:40am to 12:40pm or if there is an assembly the hours are 12:05pm to 12:55pm
Wednesdays: 11:40am to 12:40pm
Please note: We are not taking orders via online order forms this year.
