Good luck to all the grade 12s writing IB exams! Grade12s are also reminded to update their personal spreadsheet which Ms Diano sent, as they hear back from universities. Students need to highlight the university they plan to matriculate to in yellow.

Grade 11s will be leaning into their time management skills as they work on completing the draft of their Extended Essay during Challenge Week. Lots of exciting topics!

Disagreeing Well in Public Life event: 15 May 2024

Interested in politics and political debate in the UK? Considering a career in politics? In an increasingly polarised world where political debate can feel hostile and toxic, how do we challenge rather than ‘cancel’? Join us to explore the role of discourse and disagreement in politics - whether that be in Parliament, on the campaign trail, or online.

Bookings are now open for the next event in UCL’s Disagreeing Well series, taking place in-person in London at the Bloomsbury Theatre on Wednesday 15 May, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, and online via livestream.

The panel includes highly acclaimed speakers Ayesha Hazarika (broadcaster and Times Radio presenter), Stella Creasy (Labour MP), Luke Tryl (UK Director, More in Common), Luciana Berger (Chair of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance), Jeff Howard (Associate Professor of Political Philosophy and Public Policy at UCL), and Ryan Shorthouse (Executive Chair, Bright Blue).
