The engineering roadmap: Alumni Advice

University Counselling and the Alumni Office invite all Senior School students to an Engineering Breakfast on November 19 from 8:00am to 9:00am. Students will hear from York alumni working in engineering and learn more about the field and degree pathways. This event will be highly interactive, with plenty of time to connect with alumni, so students should bring their questions. Be sure to tell your kids to check their email and register!

HOUSE HYPE THURSDAYS

Throughout the month of November, our Spirit Council is continuing to infuse our community with opportunities for fun and connection. 

Every Thursday, students and staff can look forward to activities in the cafeteria to maintain spirit and contribute points to each of the 4 houses!

ICE Winter Camping Parent Information Night - Tuesday November 25 at 6:00pm

All Grade 9 parents are invited to attend an ICE Winter Camping Parent Information Night on Tuesday, November 25 at 6:00pm in the Library at 1320 Yonge St. Ms. Lossing, Ms. Gardner, and Mr. Matt Peters from ALIVE Outdoors, will be present to review all aspects of the upcoming Grade 9 ICE Winter Camping trip with parents. We will review the details of the excursion, explain preparation and packing, and answer any questions. Students are also welcome to attend. All Grade 9 Parents are asked to RSVP here by Friday, November 21.

York’s annual clothing drive for New Circles will begin on Monday, December 1 and runs until Friday, December 12. 

New Circles is a “not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that builds strong and caring communities by providing clothing and skills training programs to equity-deserving individuals.” Our long standing partnership with New Circles continues with your generous donations.

Please bring in only the following items and place them in the house bins outside the Student Life & Belonging office in the Senior School cafeteria or Middle School Commons.
