Re: Wearable AI technology

As wearable AI technology such as AI glasses becomes more common, we want to remind students that these devices fall under our mobile device policy. Just like smartphones, smartwatches, and wireless headphones, AI-powered wearables must not be worn or used during the school day. This ensures that our classrooms and common spaces remain focused, respectful, and free from digital distractions. Students are asked to store these devices safely in their lockers or bags until after school hours.

York Scares Hunger Food Drive - OctOBER 20 - 31

This year, we are encouraging students and families to help alleviate food insecurity in our community and city by supporting our annual York Scares Hunger campaign in one of the following ways:

  1. Bring in the following items and place them in your House bin outside the Student Life office in the cafeteria or the Middle School commons between October 20 - October 31.

  2. Meals on Wheels at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church
Another way to get involved with supporting food share needs in the city is through the Meals on Wheels program. Just up the street from our campus at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, is a Meals on Wheels site - providing delicious food to senior community members in need.

Students and families can get involved with Meals on Wheels by baking items for their program as well as delivering meals throughout the week. Check out their website for volunteer opportunities or to make a monetary donation to support their programming, please click Here
