I am delighted to share with you our 2026 summer reads selection that students can enjoy reading over the summer. Whether you are looking for adventure, mystery, fantasy, or something completely different, we have curated a fantastic collection of books that we think you will love.

Please see the link to our LibGuides summer reading lists for books available now in the library and digital books available now on Sora. You will find a wide range of titles across different genres and reading levels, so there is truly something for everyone.

For students who want to challenge themselves in reading books over the summer, we have our book bingo! This is a fun and interactive way to explore different types of books and reading experiences. To participate, simply complete 4 squares in a row on your bingo card. Once students have finished, they can submit a photo by email or hand in their book bingo sheet at the start of the new school year in September 2026 to be entered into our prize draw.

For a different kind of challenge, our Reading Log program lets students earn 50 points for every 30 minutes of reading. The more they read, the better the prizes! Here's what can be earned: Starbucks gift cards, an Indigo gift card, cool heat changing mugs and many more prizes!

The program starts this week (week of June 1, 2026) and runs through September 30, 2026. All the details about the book bingo and reading log challenge is available on our LibGuidesMiddle & Senior School Library: Summer Reading.

Here's the best part: there's no registration required! Students can join at any point during the summer whenever they are ready. Whether they start right away or jump in mid-summer, we would love to have everyone participate. Just submit the completed bingo cards or reading logs by email or in-person during the new school year in September 2026.

Have an amazing summer filled with great books, exciting stories, and the joy of reading. If you have any questions or need recommendations, don't hesitate to reach out!

Happy reading!
