INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY Friday, March 8

This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) theme is “Inspire Inclusion”. Tomorrow, March 8 let’s celebrate women's achievements. Raise awareness about discrimination and take action to drive gender equality. At our last house meeting, we honoured International Women’s Day and the inspiring women in our lives. Students wrote about or drew a picture of a woman they admire. We also took photos of our students in the #InspireInclusion pose to show we want a world where difference is valued and celebrated. The Grade 5 Leaders are writing this week to celebrate remarkable women and why they inspire them. We will be creating a bulletin board of their work to enjoy upon our return from March Break. Happy International Women’s Day.
