We believe that nutritious and enjoyable food plays a vital role in our young learners' well-being and their ability to thrive academically and socially.
To better understand what our Junior School students are enjoying and to explore exciting new possibilities for our menus, we've created this survey for you to take with your child(ren). Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to offer a diverse and appealing culinary experience that supports our students' healthy development and broadens their palates. If you could please complete the survey by Friday, June 13, 2025, we would greatly appreciate it.
Junior school FOOD SURVEY
JS TRACK & FIELD DAY 2025
We are looking forward to good weather and our annual Track & Field Day on Friday, May 6 for JK- Grade 5. Students will walk to Oriole Park and participate in Track & Field Stations in house groups. The activities will build physical literacy skills, knowledge of Track & Field events and teamwork.
Students should come to school in their PE uniform and running shoes as this is a York Athletic Casual Day.
We are also encouraging students to accessorize with their house colours to show their spirit.
They will also need to bring hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Grades JK-2 will be at the park from 9:00am - 11:00am and Grades 3-5 will be there from 1:00pm - 3:00pm Lunch hours will be slightly adjusted to accommodate departure times. JK & SK will eat at their regular time 12:00pm - 12:30pm. Grade 3, 4 & 5 will eat at 12:30pm - 1:00pm and Grades 1 & 2 will have a later lunch from 1:00pm - 1:30pm.
