Canadian universities are posting dates for Open Houses. Open houses allow you to learn about specific programs, talk to current students and perhaps even have a meal on campus. Small group campus tours run regularly throughout the year at most universities.

Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest and most prestigious undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarships in Canada, with a value of up to $120,000 per award. This scholarship was established to encourage our best and brightest students to be the next generation of entrepreneurial-minded, technology innovators. Launched in 2012, 1,000+ students have received this celebrated award – a top student can win from your school!
Schulich Leader Scholarships is open to all Canadian high schools and cégeps with graduating students planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in an eligible STEM program at one of our 20 partner universities. Every high school in Canada may nominate one student per academic year; cégeps may nominate up to four students. If your school had a 2026 Schulich Leader, you can nominate two students. Representatives from the University of Bristol, Durham University, Newcastle University, Queen’s University Belfast and the University of York will be running a series of virtual sessions throughout the academic year to help students understand the UK university application process and navigate UCAS.

The first two sessions are particularly useful for students considering Medicine, Veterinary Science or Dentistry, as they take place before the October 15 UCAS deadline for those courses.

The Toronto Metropolitan Engineering Outreach Team is excited to offer our first on campus program!
Saturday, October 17: Go ENG 2025 (Gr. 7-10, All students).
Our first event for this season is called “Go ENG 2026” in collaboration with ONWiE, Hydro One and Actua. The only Go ENG program in Ontario for all genders in grades 7-10! Students will be able to take part in hands-on activities inspired by issues in the real world, meet other like-minded students, and learn about the wonderful world of Engineering.
