King’s will be hosting two events—the National Lecture Tour and Journalism and Media Day. Both events are open to all high school students.
The National Lecture Tour gives students and their supporters a chance to learn more about King’s academic programs and student life. We will be in Toronto on November 28 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. All grade twelve students who attend will receive a waiver so that they can apply for free. Here is the registration page.
Journalism and Media Day is an event where students will learn more about King’s School of Journalism from faculty and alumni, as well as student life and living in Halifax. It will be hosted in Toronto on December 5 from 1 – 3 p.m. All grade twelve students who attend will receive a waiver so that they can apply for free. Here is the registration page.
The Foundation Program immerses high school students in lively, small-group discussions around twenty core topics in philosophy, economics, politics, and decision-making. The program is taught by Ph.D. students and young professors from Princeton, Harvard and other excellent philosophy graduate programs.
The two-week program emphasizes serious but playful intellectual conversation — testing ideas in real time, revising views with humility, and continuing discussions beyond the classroom, sometimes late into the evening.
All sessions are held on the campus of the Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. All students depart after the Closing Ceremony and optional dinner. Click HERE to learn more.
