BEYOND YORK - January 22, 2026

Upcoming University Visit at York

Tuesday, January 27

12:05pm - King’s College London in the University Counselling common area.

The Ivey High School Case Competitions (IHSCC) offer high school students worldwide the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of business. In these dynamic, one-day events hosted every spring by Ivey Business School at Western University, participants tackle real-world business challenges while building essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation. Students collaborate in teams, solve business cases, and present their ideas to a panel of judges. Each case is inspired by real-world scenarios, giving participants a glimpse into the life of a business consultant. The best part? No prior experience is required! Whether you're new to business or have some background, this event focuses on fun, learning, and growth in a supportive and high-energy environment. You'll register individually and be placed on a team with peers from different schools, making it a fantastic way to meet new people, explore creative solutions, and develop skills for your future. Click HERE to learn more and register. Applications are due by Monday, February 23 at 11:59PM.

If you're in Grade 10 and planning to attend university, you're invited to learn what you can do now to prepare.

This event will help you start thinking about your journey to university. You don't need to have it all figured out or know what you want to study already! This is a hybrid event, and we encourage you to participate in person or online.

Thursday, February 19, 2026
5:30pm to 8:30pm ET

Information fair (in person, optional/drop-in) Drop in before or after the presentation to chat with our staff and students to get your questions answered, learn more about what programs are available, and get a better idea of what is offered at university.

Presentation (in person & livestream option, video recording will be shared after with all registrants) We'll cover topics on studying what you love, admissions, finances, and current student experiences.

Can't attend or watch live? No problem! We'll be sharing a link to a video recording of the presentation portion of the event after to everyone who registered, so you can catch up on what was covered. Click here to register.
