The Manhattan Medical Immersion High School Program is a week-long, one-of-a-kind, hands-on program that allows students to perform procedures on real cadavers under the tutelage of physicians from a variety of medical specialties (orthopaedic surgery, anesthesia, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, radiology, and more).

Students will learn to perform advanced procedures using the same equipment that physicians use, while practicing on cadavers that are not embalmed. In other words, the specimens are more realistic than what even medical students would train with. The program will be under the direct supervision of board-certified surgeons. The students will also learn about the medical device industry.

The program is held at the Foundation’s BioSkills Lab in Midtown, Manhattan.

The program will be held from Sunday, July 5, to Saturday, July 11, 2026.

The application deadline is April 15, 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to students who submit their applications early. We will be accepting a maximum of 16 students for this program.
