Upcoming University Visits at York

Grade 11s have completed the university counselling form and are beginning to book appointments with their counsellors. They have been encouraged to start:

  • Compiling information from resources including: University Websites, University Student Blogs, viewbooks, videos.

Ontario Universities' Information Sessions: May 6, 2026, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (ET)

This virtual event is divided into 4 sessions, where students can learn about the universities of their choice and ask questions. This event is tailored to Grade 11 and younger students who are beginning their university research. Registration is available now.

Global Futures Summer School, an opportunity for students aged 16-17 to experience life at Durham for 10 days, exploring the UK education system, a range of academic taster sessions, social and cultural activities, and more. The program runs 19-28 July 2026.

Students will get to live on campus in one of our residential colleges (in a single en-suite room!) and meet other students from around the globe.
