THE YORK SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS UPDATE
The Board of Directors had their annual off-site retreat yesterday. We welcomed Mark Mitchell, Vice President, Access & Affordability from the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), to present Financial Aid professional learning for Directors and the Senior Leadership Team. In addition, we reviewed the progress towards implementing Embrace Curiosity, our strategic plan, which was launched in the fall of 2023. The Board also reviewed the feedback from our community engagement surveys and the school looks forward to sharing the results in the next few weeks.
