Welcome back - hope everyone had a great March break!

We encourage everyone to please take some time to complete the Parent Survey emailed earlier this week and share your feedback by April 9.
It was great to see the grade 5's on the Middle School campus this morning getting a tour and learning all about the spaces and exciting opportunities that await them in September.
Grade 7 speech competition happened this morning - congratulations to all who participated!

Looking forward to the JK/SK parents who will be joining their children at the Junior School “A Day in the Life of a York Kindergartener” next Thursday.

We encourage Junior School parents to pop into the campus entrance and see our exciting new plans to build a second gym, a larger cafeteria, more classrooms and more.

Parent Ambassador Sign Up Request

The York School's Parent Ambassador Program was created to support a smooth transition for new families joining our school community. York School Parent Ambassadors also play a vital role in supporting the Admissions and Enrolment Management team by volunteering at events and connecting with prospective families throughout the recruitment and application process.

We are now recruiting Parent Ambassadors for the 2024-25 school year! Please indicate your interest in being a York Parent Ambassador by completing this Google Form by Wednesday, April 3. We encourage long-time York parents as well as those new to the school this year to respond.

Athletics

A huge congratulations to Sam White, his selection to the U18 Great Britain National Baseball team is an incredible accomplishment!

Teams have been meeting and practices start next week.

Our Final York School Community Raptors Night happens March 31, 2024 which is exciting as the Raptors take on the Philadelphia 76ers.

As we enter our final 7 weeks of School Athletics, I think it is important that we take a moment to give ‘gratitude’ for our opportunities this year. Below is a video describing the importance for athletes to take time focusing on gratitude:

CISMF 2024 returns to the Roy Thomson Hall stage on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 3:00pm

Tickets for the CISMF Music Festival are on sale until Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Limit of 2 tickets per family. If you buy more than 2, the entire purchase will be refunded. This is to allow as many families as possible to attend, as tickets sell out fast - less than 90 minutes historically.

Tickets will be emailed to the purchaser on April 2.
